Udon noodles
I have been complaining that there is no place in Stockholm that serves good noodles. I was wrong. One of my favorite sushi restaurants, Izumi Gai, has great udon.

Udon is a thicker type of noodle. It's made of wheat. They are a bit chewy since they are so big, and since it is served in soup, they extremely slimy. If you think it's fun to eat spaghetti, because they are so slippery, you should try udon. You can see them in my picture to the left, slightly grey, at least if you compare with the eggs. Go to the flickr page, I have played with the annotation feature.

Aah, yes :)
Sounds like something I'd like to try!

What is dried seaweed like btw?
Some seem to preach it's ever so healthy with lots of minerals in it.
